Blackjack Edge ("we", "our", "the app") is an educational blackjack training app. It uses virtual practice chips only and does not offer real-money gambling, prizes, sweepstakes, or cash-value virtual currency.

1. Data We Collect

The app works without creating a named account. Firebase may create an anonymous user ID so progress, subscriptions, and leaderboard features can work reliably. If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, we collect the account identifiers needed for authentication.

2. How We Use Data

Authentication: Firebase Authentication supports anonymous use plus optional Sign in with Apple or Google.
Subscriptions: RevenueCat manages Blackjack Edge Pro subscription status and restore purchases. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
Advertising: Google AdMob serves ads to free users. Pro users do not see ads. On iOS, personalized ad tracking is controlled by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and your iOS settings.
Analytics and diagnostics: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics help us understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability.
Leaderboard: If you use leaderboard features, score data and a display name may be stored in Firebase so they can be shown in the app.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Training stats and preferences are stored locally on your device. Optional account, subscription, leaderboard, analytics, crash, and advertising data may be stored by the services listed above according to their retention practices.

You can delete your account from Preferences -> Delete Account. This deletes the Firebase account and clears app-associated account data where the app has access. You can also contact us for privacy requests.

5. Your Choices

Use the app without creating a named account.
Decline App Tracking Transparency permission or change it later in iOS Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Tracking.
Restore or manage subscriptions through the app or your Apple Account settings.
Delete your account from Preferences.

6. Children's Privacy

Blackjack Edge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is an educational trainer with simulated card play and virtual chips only.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
